Conference on Nonprofit Board Service to Feature Sessions on Diversity, Transitions, More

Chicago Booth's Social Enterprise Initiative will host the 2015 On Board conference on Fri., Feb. 27 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive, in Chicago.
 
This year's conference is designed to speak to all levels of board experience, from long-time members to board presidents to those just joining boards for the first time. The conference will also include special tracks on nonprofit human resources and strategy.
 
New sessions for 2015 include:
  • Fireside Chat: Achieving diversity and inclusion in the board room.
  • Untangling the Purse Strings: How board governance impacts funder decisions.
  • Painless Transitions: Takaways from The Cara Program's succession planning.

 

Serving on a nonprofit board is a meaningful way to give back, while building vital leadership skills and broadening your network. The conference will be a day full of new insights and connections.
