SUMMARY:Chicago’s Shifting Funding Landscape
DESCRIPTION:** This program has been postponed. We will update this page once it has been rescheduled. ** \nThough Chicago is widely recognized for the strength and breadth of its cultural organizations and offerings\, the funding that fuels our art-rich city has experienced sharp shifts and changes. Some foundations have made the decision to shutter their arts portfolios after years of investment while new arts funders have emerged. At this meeting open to Forefront members and the larger arts stakeholder community\, it is intended that attendees will gain insights and resources that may inform short- and long-term fundraising strategies; aid in effectively communicating the urgency and alignment of current work; and underscore the importance and relevance of policy development to increasing funding and public will for the arts. \nPanelists: \n\nChicago Community Trust: Sandra Aponte\nDCASE: Erin Harkey\nENRICH: Nina Sanchez\nMacArthur Foundation: Cate Fox\nWalder Foundation: Meg Leary\nModerator: Claire Rice\, Arts Alliance Illinois\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPreregistration is required.
