There are myriad ways that higher education institutions define career readiness and provide supports to students exploring career options and transitioning into the workforce. At this meeting, we will hear from David Baker, Executive Director of America’s Urban Campus, who will provide an overview of the range of career readiness definitions and activities at local institutions. We will also hear from representatives from local universities who will address career readiness work at their specific institutions.

Representatives include:

  • Karyn McCoy, Assistant VP, Career Center at DePaul University
  • Kathryn Jackson, Director of Career Services at Loyola University and Arrupe College
  • Carrie Roath Ernst, Director of Student Professional Engagement from Robert Morris University
  • Thy Nguyen, Executive Director of Career Center / Student Affairs from University of Illinois at Chicago
