SUMMARY:Ask a Consultant Series\, Session 8: Mission Efficiency (Zoom Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:Join Forefront and the Association of Consultants to Nonprofits for Ask A Consultant: a monthly interactive\, solutions-oriented\, virtual office hour with experienced consultants focusing on participants’ burning questions. \nAs nonprofits have felt the financial squeeze\, now is an excellent time to hone in on your central purpose. It’s the opposite of mission creep – these are the days for crystal clear definition of impact. These consultants will share how you can use key metrics and data\, analysis of past work\, and even storytelling to keep your mission front and center for your staff and your donors. \n  \nPanelists: \nFran Caan has twenty years of experience working for charitable organizations and a Master’s degree in nonprofit administration. Fran offers guidance in start-up and infrastructure development\, leadership training\, fundraising\, and budget and financial management. \nVinay Mullick is in his fourth year as Managing Director for UpMetrics.  UpMetrics is a mission-driven technology company working to help impact organizations use data to make informed decisions\, build capacity\, and tell their stories. \nDebra Natenshon\, MS\, is an influential social sector thought leader and respected expert in organizational management. Through DBN & Associates\, L3C\, she guides clients on their “journey to high performance” as an adaptive consultant\, trusted advisor\, and culturally aware group facilitator. Debra supports foundations and nonprofits to define social change based on verifiable results\, rather than on well-intentioned activities. Her vision is to translate the urgency of outcomes into the practice of continuous improvement. \n  \nModerated by: \nSuzy Lee is part of Forefront’s Member Engagement Team.  Suzy’s focus areas include nonprofit membership\, professional development programs\, digital giving with #GivingTuesday\, and the Nonprofit CEO Roundtable.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Hanover College and a Master’s of Public Administration from DePaul University School of Public Service. When she’s not working or volunteering\, you can find her in her garden\, trying a new ice cream recipe\, or playing with her English bulldog.
