DESCRIPTION:This biweekly call for Illinois funders features opportunities to hear from and share local\, regional\, and national updates on responses to COVID-19 and its impact on Illinois communities. Speakers and topics will be updated on a rolling basis. \nOur conversation on July 16th will focus on the new or renewed commitment of many foundations to center racial equity and make their grantmaking practices more just and equitable. Speakers will include Ravi Hansra\, Ph.D\, and Colette Thélémaque-Collier\, Ph.D. of Hansra Consulting & Advisory Services\, who will share their framework for applying a trauma informed lens to equity\, diversity\, and inclusion work in philanthropy.
