DESCRIPTION:At this meeting\, the Partnership for College Completion (PCC) will present a plan for Illinois to equitably invest in higher education throughout the COVID-19 crisis and recession. Dr. Kyle Westbrook\, PCC Executive Director\, and Mike Abrahamson\, PCC Policy Manager + report author\, will share the findings from their recent report\, Higher Education Appropriations: A Framework for Equity in Illinois. PCC will highlight takeaways from past recessions and crises and offers participants opportunities to learn about policies that can reverse the pattern of disinvestment that has most affected financially vulnerable students and colleges throughout the state.
