DESCRIPTION:Forefront Illinois Funders’ Briefings feature opportunities to hear from and share local\, regional\, and national updates on responses to COVID-19 and its impact on Illinois communities. Speakers and topics are updated on a rolling basis. \nOn March 11\, we’ll get an update on SHIELD Illinois\, a new university-related organization expanding the reach of rapid-result\, saliva-based testing of COVID-19. \nOn March 25\, we’ll hear an extensive analysis from Illinois Humanities of their crisis-relief grantmaking allocating more than $700\,000 to 177 unique organizations across the state. \nOn April 8\, the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) will share insights from their recent report on the impacts of COVID-19 on reproductive health and abortion access. \n  \n
