SUMMARY:Engagement & Success of UIC & Harold Washington College Adult Learners
DESCRIPTION:UIC and HWC have recently established a partnership to promote the success of adult learners (25 years old at matriculation) who transfer from HWC to UIC. To inform this partnership\, an in-depth study of the success\, engagement\, strengths\, and challenges of adult learner undergraduate students was conducted. Hear from Sue Farruggia\, Assistant Vice Chancellor\, Assessment and Planning\, University of Illinois Chicago\, and Joe Hinton\, Associate Dean\, Career Programs\, Harold Washington College\, as they share findings from this study and applications to promote their success.
