This workshop will provide the big picture of current philanthropic trends and give you techniques\, strategies\, and skills for turning prospects into donors. You’ll learn to prepare a case for support\, develop prospect lists\, and to cultivate\, motivate\, solicit\, and retain individual donors. We’ll also cover engagement strategies\, including annual funds\, special events\, and face-to-face solicitations. Participants will learn to: \n\nConduct informal prospect research    \nUnderstand the role and importance of the Annual Fund   \nIdentify and choose effective methods of solicitation \nApply effective donor cultivation and retention strategies \n\nThis workshop is ideal for nonprofit professionals responsible for and newer to securing donations from individuals. \nProgram fee: $75 Members of Forefront / $260 Non-members (Members must log into the Forefront website to obtain their discount.
