This hands on workshop will help nonprofit organizations chose which social media platform is right for their organization.

The team at Systemax will walk you through the business use of different social media platforms, then take a hands on approach to Facebook. They will help you develop a page or understand the analytics behind an existing page. Once you have an understanding of how your Facebook page functions, you’ll then learn how to create ads and sponsored posts.

About the Presenters

Brett Jackson has been advising organizations on strategic brand and growth initiatives for over a decade now.  As the CEO of Systemax Corporation, Brett is able to meet with customers to understand their current challenges, then provide ways to dynamically change their processes to generate extraordinary results.  With his creative and valuable insight, he has constructed marketing campaigns with ROI's reaching more than 800%.

Danyelle Felchner has been on the front end of the social media trend since taking her first Social Media Marketing course at Eastern Illinois University in 2008. After that class, she understood that social media, in conjunction with traditional marketing, would be the way businesses would propel forward. Since joining Systemax in 2012, she has been on the customer service team coordinating projects from start to finish, until the need arose to put her expertise to use as a Social Media Coordinator.

This event will take place in Quincy, IL as part of Good Works Connect.
