SUMMARY:Standards of Excellence: Resource Development
DESCRIPTION:The Standards of Excellence Institute\, a project of Maryland Nonprofits\, provides nonprofits with a common-sense approach to achieving the highest standards in governance and management through an extensive library of educational resources and a nationwide network of support. As part of our commitment to serving Illinois’ social impact sector\, Forefront staff members have undergone training to become Standards of Excellence Licensed Consultants who can bring best-in-practice approaches and resources to our community. \nJoin the Forefront team and your nonprofit colleagues in a workshop focused on Standards of Excellence in Resource Development. Focusing on creating a work plan for implementing best practices and addressing growth opportunities\, this session will also provide example policies\, development calendars\, and other tools that can be customized to your organization. \nPrimary Learning Goals: \n\nBecome familiar with Standards of Excellence broadly\nUnderstand the Resource Development Guiding Principle and best practices\nDevelop confidence in creating policies and tools that are consistent with the mission and capacity of the organization\n\nForefront is launching a new Pay-What-You-Can ticket model for our programs. The goal is to be as accessible as possible to our community as the recovery from the pandemic is ongoing. We continue to offer ticket levels for our Forefront Members\, as well as the public. New ticket levels include an In-Need and a Forefront Supporter level. The In-Need tickets are intended for individuals and organizations that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. The Forefront Supporter level is for folks who are able and interested in supporting the work for our community with a slightly larger contribution. We trust that you will select the ticket level that best fits your current situation.
