DESCRIPTION:Michael Itzkowitz is the Founder and President of the HEA Group who held roles in the Obama Administration’s Department of Education\, most notably as the Director of the College Scorecard\, and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Postsecondary Education. Michael authored the report featured in the March 1\, 2024 NY Times article: “Report Helps Answer the Question: Is a College Degree Worth the Cost?”.  He has agreed to answer our questions and share additional insights from the HEA Group analysis of College Scorecard data about earnings 10 years after enrollment from approximately 5 million students at 3\,900 public\, private\, and for-profit institutions. \nRegister here.

DESCRIPTION:Forefront’s annual Grantmakers Institute is a cohort-based learning series that helps new grantmakers further their skills and make connections across the philanthropic community in Illinois. Taught by a diverse group of experienced grantmakers\, the Institute aims to strengthen the entire sector through sharing best practices\, sparking conversation\, and building community. Registration includes all four program dates\, related materials\, and meals during in-person sessions. \nThe 2024 Grantmakers Institute takes place April 25\, 26\, May 1\, and May 7.
