DESCRIPTION:One of the most important steps you can take as a nonprofit leader is to be sure your fundamentals are on strong footing. This helps the organization maintain its mission\, stay financially solvent\, and keep your reputation intact. During this virtual clinic\, you will meet one-on-one with a volunteer attorney to assess: the organization’s corporate structure and core organizational documents; board composition and meetings; how finances and fiscal matters are managed; and operational policies and best practices. The evaluation will be returned to you\, and additional legal assistance may be available for any follow-on work.\n \n\nAssessments are 90 minutes.
