Family foundations, donor advised funds, and other family giving vehicles face unique opportunities and challenges in transitioning from one generation to the next. Some are established with the specific intent of involving future generations and/or outside advisors. Some may be interested in involving non-family members for intentional diversity and/or to carry on a legacy. How are these next generation decisions made? How is the next generation cultivated and on-boarded? Panelists from foundations at different stages and with different perspectives including the Duchossois Family Foundation, Harvey L. Miller Family Foundation, W. Clement & Jessie V. Stone Foundation and the Oberweiler Foundation and others will share strategies, success stories, and lessons learned.
