Thursday, March 8, 2018 -
9:00am to 11:00am
Location Title:
Forefront Large Conference Room

Participation in the Community Youth Creative Learning Experience (CYCLE), a neighborhood youth program in Chicago's Cabrini Green Housing Development, constituted a positive and critical turning point in the lives of hundreds of youth who grew up there in the 1980s and 1990s.  'You Can't Be What You Can't See' follows up with CYCLE participants nearly 40 years later and thus provides a rare opportunity to see outcomes of a youth program over an extended period of time.

Join Greg Darnieder and Milbrey McLaughlin as they facilitate a conversation with Pat and Craig.  Milbrey McLaughlin, David Jacks Professor Emertia, Stanford University and Founding Director of the John Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities is the principal author of 'You Can't Be What You Can't See'.
