Mission Sustainability Initiative MSI Resources

Forefront's Mission Sustainability Initiative (MSI) helps nonprofits consider and potentially pursue a variety of strategic restructuring options that can lead to greater organizational effectiveness and, most importantly, the sustainability of critical charitable missions. The MSI will develop a programmatic approach to fostering ‘strategic alternatives’ among nonprofit service providers throughout the state of Illinois. This page features resources, case studies, and the strategic restructuring assessment tool.

If you have any questions about these tools or the Mission Sustainability Initiative, please contact Genita C. Robinson at grobinson@myforefront.org.

Consultants List

Looking for a consultant? Forefront's Mission Sustainability Initiative has compiled a list of qualified consultants with expertise in various areas related to strategic partnerships. We've reviewed the skills and experiences and checked references for the consultants on this list.

If you are looking for a consultant, the best practice is for an organization to reach out to multiple consultants to discuss a potential scope of work and budget. In addition, an organization should personally check the references of any potential consultant.

Advisors to nonprofits are invited to submit our request for qualifications. This RFQ will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Click here to view the questions or click here to submit the RFQ.
