Change starts with us. Are you in?

The need in our community is real and these past weeks have been particularly tough. Our country has experienced unrelenting natural disasters, followed by gun violence, revelations of sexual harassment and abuse. Hatred and xenophobia are on the rise. In times like these, we're so divided, we need to focus on our common values – we believe that giving back to our communities is something we all can agree on.

Luckily, nonprofits across Illinois are working tirelessly to build stronger communities. They shelter, feed, clothe, advocate for justice and equality, and keep our communities healthy and safe.  You provide Illinoisans with endless cultural opportunities, find homes for abandoned animals, and provide support for military families and veterans. You help individuals with disabilities find and retain employment. You care for our elderly citizens and educate our young, future leaders. They strengthen the economy, and bring hope to our communities.

Let's support them.

Forefront created #ILGive for #GivingTuesday movement to connect people with the causes they care about and foster meaningful ways to give back. On ILGive.com, you can search from hundreds of Illinois nonprofits, by city or issue area. The people who work at these nonprofits are working on the frontlines in our own communities to build a vibrant place to live for each of us.

We hope you will take some time to learn about the organizations doing incredible work throughout Illinois and the ways you can support them. From donating, to volunteering, to giving your talent or experiences, there are plenty of ways to give back. It doesn’t matter where you live, or how much you give. Little actions can make a big impact. So find a way to give back on #ILGive for #GivingTuesday.

What will you give?
