How can we make our democracy more representative, how can we make government more effective, and how can we all be part of the solutions we want to see?

Forefront will host its 44th Annual Luncheon on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Chicago.

We are honored to welcome Valerie Jarrett, Sr. Advisor to President Barack Obama, and María Teresa Kumar, founding Executive Director of Voto Latino. David Hiller, President and CEO of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation will moderate an interactive discussion on civic activism and democratic engagement.

The event will serve as a kickoff for Forefront’s exciting and unique Democracy Initiative, in which we will leverage the nonprofit and philanthropic networks across the state so that community voices are heard, represented and counted.
