Earthquake in Nepal: Tell us How Your Organization is Responding
A strong earthquake devasted Nepal on April 25, and was followed by many powerful aftershocks. More than 5,000 people have died, and there is extensive damage. Many buildings collapsed, historic sites and temples are ruined, and roads are destroyed.
This is the worst earthquake to hit the Himalayan nation in nearly a century. Deaths and damage have also occurred in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan; and in an avalanche on Mount Everest, caused by the earthquake.
