Invitation to “America’s Fiscal Future: Making Difficult Choices” July 21 at University Club of Chicago
Andrew Solomon of The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation has invited Members, Forum Partners, Associate Members, and friends of Donors Forum to a free event and reception, America's Fiscal Future: Making Difficult Choices. It will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at University Club of Chicago's Michigan Room, 76 E. Monroe Street, Chicago.
The event will feature:
- Dr. John Palmer, Professor and Dean-Emeritus, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University; Former Trustee for Medicare and Social Security, and
- Dr. Rudolph Penner, Senior Fellow, Urban Institute; Former Director, Congressional Budget Office.
MacArthur President Robert Gallucci will introduce the event along with Daniel Sullivan, the Executive Vice President and Director of Research for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The event will be moderated by Patricia Widder, member of the Chicago Tribune editorial board.
