This year, Donors Forum is part of a call to action and national movement that we hope will change people’s holiday habits. On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, we are celebrating a new day dedicated to giving—when nonprofits, families, businesses, community centers, students, retailers and more will all come together to create #GivingTuesday.

#Giving Tuesday will be a national day of giving at the beginning of the annual shopping and spending season. The #GivingTuesday campaign has provided a platform for Donors Forum, its Members and Partners, and all others interested in the common good to help promote charitable giving.

We invite you to be part of this national celebration. #GivingTuesday will show how, in the holiday season, people in the U.S. can use their wallets to do more than consume –- they can make contributions to promote the common good.  Here’s what you can do to help make this initiative a success:
