We continue to monitor this emerging issue and to work together with the National Council of Nonprofits and other national partners to create a national framework to address challenges with online fundraising platforms such as GoFundMe, Charity Navigator, and others.

These online fundraising platforms can cause confusion and distrust between nonprofit organizations and their donors. The management of these platforms creates a new burden on organizations that are already trying to address great needs under incredible scrutiny.
