Join the Chicago Arts Education Collaborative (a group of funders committed to arts education in Chicago Public Schools) for a welcome reception for the new Executive Director of the Chicago Public Schools Department of Arts Education, César Toruella. We are excited to get to hear from the Executive Director about the future of arts education in the district, what the priorities are for this year and beyond, how they align with the larger CPS strategic plan, and the role that the district’s many partners and advocates can play in helping to shape the vision for the future.
