This free 90-minute training is designed to help private foundation staff, board members, and other stakeholders understand the rules for private foundations when it comes to policy and advocacy. Expert attorney panelists will explain federal and state lobbying rules, including when and how different types of foundations are permitted to engage. They will also offer real-world examples of what types of policy and advocacy work private foundations may fund, and methods for doing so.
Q&A and discussion will follow. The event recording will be provided to all registrants.
