Join Forefront board members, policy committee members, and policy staff at #FOTH26 on March 16-19, 2026. At this annual event, philanthropy stakeholders descend upon Capital Hill to learn, network, and educate officials. Follow these steps:
- REGISTER for FOTH here!
- Book your hotel and flight (tip: arrive no later than 8am Tuesday 3/17; depart no earlier than evening of 3/18)
- Private Foundations only: Register for Advocacy 101 for Private Foundations on 2/12/26 (required)
- Public Charities only: Watch the recording of Advocacy 101 for Public Charities (required)
- All FOTH registrants: Register for the required FOTH Training on 3/9/26 (required)
Forefront staff will ensure your participation in FOTH is seamless:
- We’ll train and brief you before we travel to DC
- We’ll schedule all of the Capitol Hill meetings and guide you around the Hill
- We’ll do the direct lobbying, briefing officials on key legislative priorities to ensure compliance with related foundation regulations
Foundation stakeholders like you will:
- Network with hundreds of other philanthropy professionals from around IL and the entire United States
- Educate IL Congressional officials about the role philanthropy plays in their districts
- Cultivate relationships that position foundation experts like you as an important resource on key issues of the day

Stipends Available for 501c3 Public Charities!
Forefront has a limited number of $1,000 stipends available to help offset the cost of attendance for 501c3 community foundations and other public charities to ensure they are adequately represented at FOTH. Priority is given to active members, community foundations, and then other public charities, on a first-come, first-served basis. Stipends are only issued to organizations, not individuals, and only after returning from FOTH. To receive the full stipend, registration, hotel, flight, and other expenses must exceed $1,000. Receipts and a W-9 are required. Request information by emailing [email protected].
