Now, Easier EBSCO Access in our Library, and Remotely for Members
Donor's Forum Library is committed to supporting the work of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors and develops its collection and resources to support that work. Earlier this year, we added four EBSCO databases to the Library's collection: Business Source Corporate, Nonprofit Organization Reference Center, Regional Business News, and McClatchy-Tribune Collection.
These databases are available for free public use in the Donors Forum Library, but our Members can access them from their offices, homes, or favorite coffee shops. If you are Member and have yet to take advantage of remote access to EBSCO, we have made it even easier for you to give it a try through direct links on Donors Forum’s EBSCO homepage. If you are not a member and would like to join to take advantage of remote access, click here to learn more about the Donors Forum community and the benefits of Membership.
Periodicals now available through direct links include Chronicle of Philanthropy, Crain's Chicago Business, Family Foundation Advisor, Harvard Business Review, Journal for Nonprofit Management, Nonprofit Counsel, Nonprofit World, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Third Sector, and Trusts and Estates.
You also will find links to five full-text books: Employer's Legal Handbook (Nolo, 2015), Effective Fundraising for Nonprofits (Nolo, 2013), Starting & Building a Nonprofit (Nolo, 2013), Fundamentals of Project Management (American Management Association International, 2007), and Good Governance for Nonprofits (American Management Association International, 2007).
Go to http://guides.donorsforum.org/ and click on the Go to A – Z List icon (blue box) near the top of the right column. Then click on any EBSCO link from our list of databases to be directed to our EBSCO homepage. Simply click on a title for more options.
You also can create an individual account once you are logged in so you can save alerts or create folders of articles. Not familiar with EBSCO? Click here to find tutorials and handouts. Or, sign up for our free Introduction to EBSCO Research Databases on Tues., July 21.
