Arthur Padilla has been providing training, education, and support around DEI issues since the early 1990’s. Mr. Padilla comes with a variety of perspectives to this conversation including an academic interest, a professional understanding of how to manage change around DEI issues, and his personal lived experience as a person of color and living as a member of several oppressed groups. The new attention on civil rights and institutionalized oppression has refocused my work on dismantling the foundational structures of oppression and most notably, how to implement a DEI strategic plan within a nonprofit.
