Philanthropy Club, December 2020: MacArthur Foundation and the Recent Multi-Foundation Commitment of $1.7+ Billion to Nonprofit Organizations in Wake of Pandemic

Back in June, the MacArthur Foundation—in partnership with the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Ford Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation—announced their commitment to increasing payouts by 1.7+ billion to nonprofit organizations over the next three years.

December’s Philanthropy Club Convening featured a presentation about the MacArthur Foundation’s plans from Tara Magner, MacArthur’s Director of the Chicago Commitment.
