This virtual workshop will provide an overview of how to apply for grants available from the State of Illinois or local governmental entities.

Key concepts include:

• Identifying key information in a Request for Proposal;
• Outlining a grant proposal narrative;
• Developing a compelling need statement; and
• Applying tips of the trade to submit a winning grant proposal.

This session is aimed at novice grantseekers with little or no experience with applying for government grants.
