Strong cash management is an essential component of nonprofit management. This clinic takes place over two sessions and is intended to help nonprofit leaders project and monitor cash needs over the course of the year to facilitate planning for future cash shortfalls in advance. Participants will walk through a step-by-step process of projecting future cash flow with an emphasis on the cross-functional team collaboration necessary to create and update projections. Participants will populate a cash flow projection template that reflects each organization’s accounting structure and begin to forecast results for the current fiscal year.
