What’s New in the Donors Forum Library? EBSCO Databases w/Remote Access for Members!

March 12, 2015

New and available for free public use in the Libary are four EBSCO databases.

EBSCO may be familiar to public library users and those who have done academic research.

The four EBSCO databases now available in the Library are:

  • Business Source Corporate contains full text articles and company profiles.
  • McClatchy-Tribune Collection includes a 90-day archive of newspapers from the McClatchy-Tribune wire service.
  • Nonprofit Organization Reference Center includes fundraising, governance, philanthropic issues, social entrepreneurship and volunteering among its subjects.
  • Regional Business News offers full-text business publications, on a regional level, for the United States.

You can search these databases for full-text articles about donors, nonprofit best practices, or company profiles. Titles include Chronicle of Higher Education, Chronicle of Philanthropy, Crain's Chicago Business, Entrepreneur, Family Foundation Advisor, Harvard Business Review, NonProfit Times, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Trusts & Estates, and many more that support the work in the social impact sector.
