Clinic: Assessing Programmatic Sustainability (In-person)

September 1 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

As nonprofits continue to navigate a complex and changing landscape, many are reexamining their business models and programmatic activities. When considering significant shifts, leaders need a clear understanding of both the financial contribution and mission alignment of each program in order to make informed decisions about organizational sustainability. This clinic will guide participants through the process of creating a double-bottom line analysis that highlights the combined financial and mission implications of their programs. Participants will estimate financial results for each program, undertake a mission impact assessment, and begin creating a visual map of the results. This event will be held in-person at Impact House, 200 W. Madison St., 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60606.

Key focus areas for this clinic will include:

– Estimating the financial results of individual programs or activities using available revenue and expense information

– Assessing the mission impact of programs using a structured set of criteria

– Using a double-bottom line analysis to inform conversations about sustainability, adaptation, and investment

Please note that attendance is limited, submit your registration form via the link below before August 17, 2026.
