Evaluation for Social Justice: Cultural Sensitivity, Humility and Learning

May 28, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

*This program has been cancelled.

Culture is a major driver in people’s decision-making, thinking and behavior. It can be an asset for effective change, or it can be a barrier to progress. As a professional evaluating the impact and importance of your programs and services, you need to be aware of culture as you make decisions. This workshop will explore cultural learning, cultural assets, and how philanthropy, programming, and evaluation practitioners can integrate culture in a way that moves towards effective action.
