Registration is now open for our 2021 Virtual Summit on Tuesday, June 22!
Heather McGhee, author of the bestselling book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together, will share a keynote address about the zero-sum paradigm – the idea that for one community to benefit, another must lose – and how it harms rural and urban communities, people of color, and white folks alike.
After hearing from community members across the state about the work they’re doing to advance racial equity, Heather will join us for a live conversation about the role nonprofits and philanthropy play in upholding and dismantling the zero-sum paradigm, what we stand to gain by recognizing the dividends of solidarity, and how we can work together toward the common good.
Building on our 2020 summit, Solidarity & Resilience, this year’s event also will illuminate our new President & CEO, Monique B. Jones, as she shares her vision for the future of Forefront.
Summit tickets are $65 for Members and $130 for non-Members. Please contact [email protected] to receive the Member discount code.
