Looking Back and Moving Forward: Lessons from COVID-19

March 15, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Free

Almost exactly two years ago, the COVID-19 pandemic sent us into lockdown. Nonprofit organizations had to respond rapidly to the pandemic’s impact. Funders had to be responsive to emergent needs. What did this response look like, and what are the takeaways? We’ll hear from representatives from The Chicago Community Trust and the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, allowing time for questions of the panelists, then move into small group breakouts to share our own lessons learned to move organizations forward.

Panelists:

Gloria Castillo, Associate VP of We Rise Together: For an Equitable & Just Recovery for The Chicago Community Trust

Julie Christman, President & CEO, Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley

Moderators:

Barb Hailey, Sr. Director, Communications & Advancement, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois
