Philanthropic Leaders Transforming their Boards: What Can We All Learn? (3/2)

March 2, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Free

Locally and nationally, there is greater interest in board governance: who trustees of organizations are, and how they engage as mission drivers. Related is the current environment of our country’s racial reckoning and gaps revealed through the pandemic. How are foundation and nonprofit leaders, staff, and stakeholders exploring the potential of their boards?

March’s Philanthropy Club convening will feature three social sector leaders in an engaged panel discussion exploring how these leaders recruit and develop boards that align with their organizational visions, represent the communities they serve, and contribute to shifting the cultures of their boards towards greater mission ownership.

Gayla Brockman, President & CEO, Michael Reese Health Trust

Cheryl Collins, CEO, Holy Families Ministries

Angelique Power, President, The Field Foundation of Illinois
