Supporting a Vision for Culturally Sustaining Teaching

Join fellow funders on December 4th from 9:30-10:30am to discuss approaches, interventions and emerging needs for strengthening culturally sustaining pedagogy within our schools.  Participants will explore this topic by engaging with leaders and organizations that support implementation of this work in schools.

Violeta Cerna-Prado, a 9th grade multicultural studies teacher, Teach Plus policy fellow, and a member of the Diverse and Learner Ready Teachers (DLRT) Network

Julie Furigay, Residency Instructor and Advisor, University of Chicago Urban Teacher Education Program
