SUMMIT SCHEDULE
Forefront was proud to welcome leaders from government, philanthropy, operating nonprofits, and more as speakers at our first-ever virtual summit on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Our speakers shared their insights and vision on how we may remain resilient in solidarity with each other in the present while imagining our collective future. See the full schedule of the summit below.
11:10 AM – Rest and Resilience: A discussion between nonprofit leaders
Tricia Hersey is the founder of The Nap Ministry, an organization that examines the liberating power of naps. Tricia will be joined in conversation by Coya Paz, Artistic Director of Free Street Theater, for a discussion on how the people in the social impact sector can maintain their resilience, grow, and flourish in the weeks, months, and years to come. They will also explore rest as a form of resistance and critically discuss the notion that the good work of the sector requires our exhaustion.
