Forefront Program Faculty Application
Thank you for your interest in providing training for Forefront’s audiences of Illinois-based operating nonprofit and/or grantmaking professionals! By completing this interest form, you are indicating that you have read and accepted the following:
- Forefront programs strive to reflect the principles we believe are foundational to the success of the social impact sector. Faculty should support and promote these principles:
- Equitable policies and practices, cultural responsiveness, diversity, and inclusivity contribute to higher impact
- Healthy partnerships contribute to increased sustainability
- Budgeting, funding, and fundraising practices must reflect the full cost of doing business
- Leadership is an activity, not a position
- Faculty must demonstrate competency in their topic of interest. Experience as a practitioner in the area you’re proposing to teach is required.
- Faculty positions secured through this submission process are unpaid. Marketing or promotion during training is strongly discouraged. However, you may briefly provide information about your services as they are relevant to the topic at hand.
- Forefront protects the privacy of our program participants and will not share their contact information. However, faculty may offer program participants an opportunity to opt-in to receive additional information or communications.
- Trainings will be held virtually via Forefront’s Zoom platform. Trainings will be recorded and made available to Forefront stakeholders via the Forefront website. Faculty may request a copy of the session recording for their portfolio if desired.
Forefront staff will review and respond to proposals on a rolling basis. Selection will be based on alignment with the principles outlined above and the evolving needs of our Members. If you have questions or concerns in the interim, please contact Lisa May Simpson at [email protected].
