Finding State and Local Grant Opportunities (Webinar)

This virtual workshop will provide an overview of how to identify potential grant funding opportunities available from the State of Illinois or local governmental entities.

Key concepts include:

• Getting organized to conduct a grant search;
• Understanding how the State of Illinois administers American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding;
• Accessing state and local grant funding announcements;
• Reviewing a sample Request for Proposals; and
• Determining if a grant opportunity is a good fit for your organization’s funding needs.

This session is aimed at novice grantseekers with little or no experience with searching for government grants.
