Foundations and nonprofits that operate within Chicago, and/or that engage with the City Council or Departments, should attend this meeting to learn about the ethics ordinance (O2023-2937) that makes changes to the City’s lobbying rules. Forefront has been in negotiations on the ordinance since our briefing in August, and will provide updates and gather additional feedback on the updated version.
Forefront staff will brief stakeholders on the changes, answer questions, and invite feedback in order to ensure we represent the sector’s interests. The briefing will be recorded; discussion and Q&A will not be recorded.
