This free 60-minute training is designed to help all foundations in Illinois understand the rules for foundations when it comes to policy and advocacy, and what foundations are allowed to fund, and not fund, in the world of policy and advocacy. Foundation staff will learn about federal and state rules, including when and how foundations are permitted to fund policy and advocacy work for their grantees. This training is required for those attending Foundations on the Hill 2025.
