When reviewing requests to host an issue briefing, Forefront will consider the following priorities:
– Alignment with Forefront’s values and strategic goals.
– Potential alignment with one of Forefront’s Member Networks. Proposals that fall under the interest areas of an active Network may be referred to the group’s leadership for consideration.
– Membership status of the requester. Briefing support is a benefit of Forefront membership and limited to current Members.
– Availability on Forefront’s programming calendar. Requests should be submitted no later than 8 weeks prior to your ideal program date. Earlier is generally better.
– Current program and communications staff capacity.
For approved requests, you can expect the following support from Forefront staff:
– Thought partnership and guidance on program format and speaker selection.
– Reference and research support from the Forefront Library, including the development of resource lists for participants.
– Support selecting a date that aligns with other Forefront and sector-wide offerings.
– Writing and/or editing of program description.
– Marketing and outreach support via our bi-monthly newsletter and social media channels.
– Event registration support, including a listing on Forefront’s events calendar.
– Hosting support for in-person or virtual events.
– Notetaking and/or session recording.
– Follow up with attendees to share session materials and/or recording.
– Topline feedback from session evaluation surveys.
Please note:
– Forefront will not host events with a primary purpose of raising funds or generating business, or that are partisan in nature.
– Forefront values our Members’ privacy and does not share registration lists with presenters or session organizers. Presenters are welcome to share their contact information should they wish to during or after a program.
– All program descriptions will be reviewed and may be edited for alignment with Forefront marketing guidelines before they are published.
