Welcome to Peer Skill Share! This Forefront Member benefit gives professionals the kind of help they most value: focused, tailored to their needs, and delivered person-to-person. We make matches between social impact sector practitioners across Illinois, and the match partners then meet one-on-one for a 1-2 hour Skill Share session. It all starts with you submitting a Peer Skill Share request, which details exactly the kind of support you’re looking for.
To submit your Peer Skill Share request, please read the guidelines then fill out the form below. We’ll review the request, and work to match you with a Peer Skill Share advisor who can support you. Still have questions? Not sure if your membership is current? Don’t hesitate to reach out to Emily Long, Forefront’s Manager of Education, at [email protected].
Peer Skill Share Guidelines
Please read the information below, and please contact Emily Long at [email protected] if you have any questions.
- You may only have 1 open request at any one time focusing on one specific skill. If you complete a Peer Skill Share session, you may submit a new request.
- Be sure to fill out *all three tiers* under ‘Skills Requesting.’ And please limit each request to one specific skill. We have dozens of categories and hundreds of skills. The more detail we have about the help you need, the better we can match you.
- If you would like to see all the skills we have at a glance, click on our skills list here. If there is a skill you need and don’t see it on the list, contact us or describe your need in detail in the ‘Comments’ box on the submission form.
- You are strongly encouraged to provide a narrative that helps describe your request in the “Comments” field.
I want to be an advisor – can I do that on this page, too? Fill out your Advisor Profile here.
Thank you for participating, and happy skill sharing!
